Se llevó a cabo un análisis de las necesidades y requisitos de los estudiantes, el personal administrativo y docente del instituto, y se identificaron las áreas problemáticas en los procesos actuales de matrícula y consulta de información. Con base en los resultados del análisis, se diseñó un sistema web que permitiría a los estudiantes realizar su matrícula en un corto tiempo, consultar su progreso académico y acceder a otra información relevante a través de una plataforma.
