To determine the risk factors associated with obstetric complications in adolescent pregnancy attended in a public hospital. A case-control study was carried out by reviewing medical records for the year 2021. A multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the risks; the Odds Ratio was calculated, with the selection of variables, the Stepwise Forward Wald method was applied for reliability and the Hosmer and Lemeshow test was used for data adjustment with 95% confidence and significance level p < 0.05. The risk factors associated associated with complications are coming from the rural area (adjusted OR=2.7 [CI95%=1.4-5.6]); the presence of a partner (adjusted OR=2.2 [95%CI=1.2- 3.9]); having anemia (adjusted OR=3.9 [95%CI=2.0-7.7]), adolescents with a body mass index less than 18.5 (OR=3.0 [95%CI=1.1-7.8]); VDRL positive (adjusted OR=11.4 [95%CI=2.2- 58.1]); lastly, those with gestational age in the preterm range (OR=11.4 [95%CI=2.2-58.1]). gestational age in the premature range (adjusted OR=5.4 [95%CI=1.6-17.1]), the most frequent complications are premature rupture (adjusted OR=5.4 [95%CI=1.6-17.1]). most frequent complications are premature rupture of membrane, oligohydramnios and cephalic and cephalopelvic disproportion. The risk factors for obstetric complications were coming from a rural area, having a partner, anemia, body mass less than 18.5, positive VDRL and preterm delivery.application/pdfspainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/EmbarazoComplicaciones obstétricasAdolescentesPregnancyFactores de riesgo asociados a complicaciones obstétricas del embarazo en adolescentes atendidas en un hospital público de Ica - Perúinfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesishttps://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#3.00.00
