En tal sentido la investigación tiene como objetivo identificar de qué manera la comunicación asertiva, como estrategia, fortalece el trabajo en equipo en la Oficina Descentralizada de Procesos Electorales, instalada en la provincia de Coronel Portillo, en la región Ucayali, para llevar a cabo las elecciones regionales y municipales del año 2022. La presente investigación es de tipo descriptivo básico ya que refiere las variables de estudio en el entorno problemático, caracterizando los fenómenos investigados mediante la observación del comportamiento sin profundizar en la búsqueda de causas y efectos. Por otro lado, el estudio también es correlacional, ya que intenta explicar los factores que precipitaron el fenómeno y las consecuencias que podrían conducir a su crecimiento (Hernández et al., 2014). Según (Hernández - Sampieri & Mendoza, 2018) la presente investigación se enmarca en el nivel descriptivo, Algunos investigadores la refieren como investigación estadística, la misma que presenta las características de la muestra y se extrapolan al conjunto de la población y a situaciones comparables. Entre los principales hallazgos se puede señalar que, si existe correlación media o moderada de 0,742 entre las variables de estudio, con alto nivel de significancia porque el p- valor es 0 y es menor a alfa que es 0,05 es decir p-valor < a 0,05 por los tanto se rechaza la hipótesis nula. ----- This thesis addresses the issue of assertive communication as a strategy to strengthen teamwork in the decentralized office of electoral processes in the province of Coronel Portillo - Ucayali Region - 2022. In this sense, the objective of this research is to identify how assertive communication as a strategy strengthens teamwork in the decentralized office of electoral processes of the province of Coronel Portillo - Ucayali Region - 2022. The present research is of a basic descriptive type since it describes the variables of study in the problematic environment, characterizing the phenomena investigated through the observation of behavior without delving into the search for causes and effects. On the other hand, the study is also correlational, since it attempts to explain the factors that precipitated the phenomenon and the consequences that could lead to its growth.(Hernández et al., 2014). According to (Hernández - Sampieri & Mendoza, 2018) the present researchn is framed in the descriptive level, Some researchers refer to it as statistical research in which the characteristics of the sample are presented and extrapolated to the whole population and to comparable situations.
