Evaluación del efecto de la selección en la primera semana en pollitas de postura, sobre la uniformidad, consumo y peso vivo a las 23 semanas

El objetivo de la investigación fue evaluar el efecto de la crianza sobre el consumo de gallinas durante la primera semana de postura. Metodología de investigación. El estudio fue cuantitativo, transversal y experimental y se llevó a cabo en la finca de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad Nacional San Luis Gonzaga, ubicada en Alto Larán, Chincha del departamento de ICA. Utilizando pollitas bebe divididos en 2 tratamientos, replicándose cada tratamiento en 3 repeticiones durante la fase de crecimiento. Se utilizó un diseño completamente al azar con 150 pollitas por tratamiento y 50 pollitas por unidad experimental. Las pollas que se seleccionaron procedían de estirpes mejoradas obtenidas por la línea Hy line tenían 0 días de edad en levante. En los resultados no hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas en los pesos iniciales entre tratamientos, pero los pesos en la octava semana fueron: 687.86 g (sin selección), T2: 712.39 (con selección). Los tratamientos con mejores resultados en términos de eficiencia de conversión alimenticia. Seleccione los niveles por separado.
