Relación entre la concentración del plomo en la mezcla fundente y el oro recuperado en el análisis por Fire Assay

Abstract

La presente investigación titulada “Relación entre la concentración del plomo en la mezcla fundente y el oro recuperado en el análisis por fire assay”, es una investigación aplicada, de nivel explicativa y de diseño experimental, cuyo objetivo es determinar cómo influye la concentración del óxido de plomo de la mezcla fundente en la exactitud del análisis para determinar la ley del oro cuando se trabaja con el método gravimétrico fire assay, para demostrar que existe relación entre la concentración del plomo y el oro que se recupera, se han realizado ensayos considerando cuatro tipos de minerales los cuales se diferencian por el alto contenido de cuarzo, hierro, cobre y mixtos, variando en cada ensayo la cantidad de litargirio para comprobar si la cantidad de este, se relaciona con la cantidad de oro recuperado. El litargirio se agrega a partir de 70 g de 5 en 5 g. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la cantidad o concentración de litargirio está en relación directa con el tipo de mineral, y su composición química.

The present investigation entitled "Relationship between the concentration of lead in the flux mixture and the gold recovered in the analysis by fire assay", is an applied investigation, of explanatory level and experimental design, whose objective is to determine how the concentration of the oxide influences of lead from the flux mixture in the accuracy of the analysis to determine the grade of gold when working with the gravimetric fire assay method, to demonstrate that there is a relationship between the concentration of lead and the gold that is recovered, tests have been carried out considering four types of minerals which are differentiated by the high content of quartz, iron, copper and mixed, varying the amount of litharge in each test to check if the amount of this is related to the amount of gold recovered. The litharge is added from 70 g in 5 g at a time. The results obtained indicate that the amount or concentration of litharge is in direct relationship with the type of mineral and its chemical composition.
