promedio.
The health-related quality of life (HRQoL), is also called perceived health, which integrates aspects of life directly related to physical and mental functioning and wellbeing. The present non-experimental, quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional research aims to determine the HRQoL in Patients with Arterial Hypertension (HTA) treated in the Outpatient Clinics of the Cardiology Service of the Regional Hospital of Ica, in 2024, with a sample of 154 patients, using the survey with the SF-36-QVRS instrument. The results indicate that patients with HTA reported having an average HRQOL (x=54.78), with a predominance of low HRQOL (34.4%), followed by high (24%), average (20.1%), very high (19.5%) and very low (2%). In the Physical Health component, an average HRQOL level is observed (x=55.56), being higher in the Physical Function dimension (x=66.04) and lower in the General Health dimension (x=47.7). In the Mental Health component, an average HRQOL level is also evident (x=54.0), being higher in the Mental Health dimension (x=58.9) and lower in the Emotional Role dimension (x=50.1); Likewise, the health transition compared to the previous year corresponds to an average HRQoL (x=53.24), quite close to what was perceived globally by components and dimensions (x=54.78). Conclusion: The HRQoL in global form and in the dimensions turned out to be of an average level.
