Tipos de cepillos dentales y actitud de desinfección del cepillo dental en pacientes adultos de los consultorios del distrito de Parcona, Ica - Perú 2023

Abstract

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar la relación de los tipos de cepillo dental y la actitud de la desinfección en pacientes adultos de los consultorios del distrito de Parcona. Metodología: la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo de nivel relacional tipo observacional de diseño analítico, transversal, Población y técnica: la población fue de 1776 pobladores adultos se realizó el cálculo de la muestra resultando 66 pacientes adultos a examinar del conglomerado de Parcona. Se realizo una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, observacional, transversal, analítico, de nivel relacional. Encontramos los siguientes resultados. Resultados: 54.5% que utilizan cepillos de marca cambian de cepillo dental cada 3 o 4 meses, 24.2% que utilizan cepillos convencionales realizan un cepillado mayor a 3 minutos, 57.6% de pacientes que utilizan cepillos de marca refieren cepillarse los dientes al menos 2 veces al día, 75.8% guardan su cepillo de manera individual, 4.5% refirió que si comparte su cepillo dental, un 22.7% una cantidad considerable tiene su cepillo en regular estado. Conclusión: Las actitudes asociadas son veces que se cepillan, guardado de cepillo, compartir cepillo, estado de cepillo en la limpieza dental, desinfección con solución antimicrobiana. No están asociadas tiempo de uso, tiempo demora de cepillado, el estado de cepillo dental.


The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the types of toothbrush and the attitude towards disinfection in adult patients in the offices of the Parcona district. Methodology: the research has a quantitative approach at a relational level, observational type, analytical, transversal design, Population and technique: the population was 1776 adult residents, the sample calculation was carried out, resulting in 66 adult patients to be examined from the Parcona conglomerate. A research with a quantitative, observational, transversal, analytical, relational level approach was carried out. We found the following results. Results: 54.5% who use brand name brushes change their toothbrush every 3 or 4 months, 24.2% who use conventional brushes brush for more than 3 minutes, 57.6% of patients who use brand name brushes report brushing their teeth at least 2 times per day, 75.8% of those who do store their toothbrush individually, 4.5% reported that if they share their toothbrush, 22.7% a considerable number have their brush in fair condition. Conclusions: The associated attitudes are brushing times, brush storage, brush sharing, brush status in dental cleaning, disinfection with antimicrobial solution. Time of use, brushing delay time, and toothbrush status are not associated.
