dc.description.abstractCon el objetivo de evaluar los componentes de rendimiento de doce genotipos de pallar de crecimiento indeterminado, se planificó la presente investigación en condiciones edafoclimáticas del distrito de Subtanjalla, zona media del valle de Ica, en un suelo de textura franco arenoso, con contenido medio de carbonato de calcio, ligeramente salino, reacción ligeramente alcalina, contenido bajo de materia orgánica y nitrógeno, con capacidad de intercambio catiónico media. Se utilizó el diseño en bloques completamente al azar (DBCA), con tres repeticiones, en siembra del mes de abril, evaluando cinco plantas, diez vainas y diez granos representativos por genotipo en cada parcela; realizando también el análisis de correlación entre las variables cuantitativas. Los resultados obtenidos indican que los genotipos evaluados se adaptaron a las condiciones de clima y suelo del lugar experimental; se encontró diferencia altamente significativa en los caracteres morfológicos, fenológicos y en las variables cuantitativas, destacando que seis genotipos iniciaron la floración entre los 57.67 y 73.33 días de la emergencia, presentando una importante precocidad con respecto al cultivar comercial; dos genotipos tienen 3.43 y 3.39 granos por vaina, en promedio; es decir, tienen un importante porcentaje de vainas con cuatro granos; el peso de 100 granos presentó asociación positiva altamente significativa con las dimensiones de la vaina y las dimensiones del grano, que se deben tener en cuenta para la selección. Se recomienda seguir evaluando la adaptación de los genotipos en estudio en diferentes localidades de las zonas productoras de la región Ica. ----- In order to evaluate the yield components of twelve genotypes of lima bean of indeterminate growth, the present investigation was planned under edaphoclimatic conditions of the district of Subtanjalla, middle zone of the Ica valley, in a soil with a sandy loam texture, with an average content of Calcium carbonate, slightly saline, slightly alkaline reaction, low organic matter and nitrogen content, with medium cation exchange capacity. The completely randomized block design (DBCA) was used, with three repetitions, in sowing in April, evaluating five plants, ten pods and ten representative grains per genotype in each plot; also carrying out the correlation analysis between the quantitative variables. The results obtained indicate that the evaluated genotypes adapted to the climate and soil conditions of the experimental site; a highly significant difference was found in the morphological and phenological characters and in the quantitative variables, highlighting that six genotypes began flowering between 57.67 and 73.33 days after emergence, presenting an important earliness with respect to the commercial cultivar; two genotypes have 3.43 and 3.39 grains per pod, on average; that is, they have a significant percentage of pods with four grains; the weight of 100 grains presented a highly significant positive association with the dimensions of the pod and the dimensions of the grain, which must be taken into account for the selection. It is recommended to continue evaluating the adaptation of the genotypes under study in different localities of the producing areas of the Ica region.
