Efecto de la aplicación exógena del bioestimulante protohormonal natural en el rendimiento y calidad de la fruta de lúcuma (Pouteria lúcuma) variedad Siles en Chincha - Ica

Abstract

El presente estudio evaluó el efecto de un bioestimulante protohormonal natural aplicado en diferentes dosis (300, 350, 400, 450 y 500 cc/cil) sobre variables de rendimiento, calidad y morfometría del fruto de Pouteria lúcuma variedad Siles, bajo condiciones de campo. A randomized complete block design (DBCA) with four replications was applied, and soluble solids, yield by commercial categories, total yield, number of fruits per plant, and fruit biometric dimensions were analyzed. Los análisis de varianza evidenciaron efectos altamente significativos del bioestimulante en la mayoría de las variables evaluadas, lo que demuestra su influencia directa sobre la productividad y calidad del cultivo. Los mayores valores de °Brix, rendimiento de fruta extra y rendimiento total se registraron con la dosis de 500 cc/cil, mientras que la mayor proporción de fruta de primera, número de frutos por planta y peso promedio se obtuvieron con la dosis de 450 cc/cil. Las variables biométricas, como diámetro polar y ecuatorial, también mostraron incrementos notables con dosis intermedias y altas. En contraste, la relación DE/DP no presentó diferencias significativas entre tratamientos, indicando estabilidad morfológica del fruto. Concluyendo que las dosis entre 450 y 500 cc/cil se identifican como las más eficientes para maximizar la productividad, lo que resalta el potencial agronómico de los bioestimulantes en sistemas frutícolas.

The present study evaluated the effect of a natural protohormonal biostimulant applied at different doses (300, 350, 400, 450, and 500 cc/cil) on yield, quality, and morphometric variables of Pouteria lúcuma cv. Siles under field conditions. A randomized complete block design was used, and soluble solids, yield by commercial categories, total yield, number of fruits per plant, and fruit biometric dimensions were analyzed. The analysis of variance showed highly significant effects of the biostimulant on most evaluated variables, demonstrating its direct influence on crop productivity and fruit quality. The highest values of °Brix, extra fruit yield, and total yield were obtained with the 500 cc/cil dose, whereas the greatest proportion of first-grade fruit, number of fruits per plant, and average fruit weight were achieved with the 450 cc/cil dose. Biometric variables, such as polar and equatorial diameter, also exhibited notable increases with intermediate and high doses. In contrast, the DE/DP ratio did not show significant differences among treatments, indicating morphological stability of the fruit. It is concluded that doses between 450 and 500 cc/cil are the most efficient for maximizing productivity, highlighting the agronomic potential of biostimulants in fruit production systems.
