Comparativo de rendimiento y caracteres morfoagronómicos de genotipos de pallar (Phaseolus lunatus L.) de granos de color en la zona baja del valle de Ica

Abstract

Con el objetivo de comparar el rendimiento y caracteres morfoagronómicos de genotipos de pallar (Phaseolus lunatus L.) con granos de color, se planeó el presente ensayo en el caserío Los Calderones, distrito de Pachacútec en la zona baja del valle de Ica, en un suelo de textura franco arenoso, con contenido muy bajo de carbonato de calcio, no salino, reacción moderadamente alcalina, contenido muy bajo de materia orgánica y nitrógeno, con capacidad de intercambio catiónico baja, con el diseño en bloques completamente al azar (DBCA), con tres repeticiones, en siembra en abril, evaluando cinco plantas, diez vainas y diez granos representativos por parcela. Los resultados obtenidos indican que los genotipos de pallar con granos de color evaluados fueron tolerantes a las condiciones atípicas de las temperaturas que se presentaron durante su desarrollo, logrando resultados favorables en los principales caracteres morfoagronómicos como el inicio de floración, el número de vainas por planta, el largo y ancho de las vainas, el peso de 100 granos y el peso de grano por planta, que pueden ser considerados en un proceso de selección, destacando PILEM-18-1/21 y PILEM 18/19 por sus características de grano con 2.71 x 1.45 x 0.66 y 2.61 x 1.49 x 0.66 cm de largo x ancho x grosor de grano y con un peso de 100 granos de 194.9 y 178.5, respectivamente, siendo los granos de mayor tamaño y peso. Por su potencial productivo destacaron PILEM-7/19 y PILEM-8/19 con 567.33 y 547.18 g/planta, equivalentes a 2,521.48 y 2,431.93 kg. ha-1, respectivamente.

In order to comparing the yield and morpho-agronomic characteristics of genotypes of Lima bean (Phaseolus lunatus L.) with colored grains, the present trial was planned in the hamlet of Los Calderones, district of Pachacútec in the lower area of the Ica valley, in a sandy loam soil, with very low calcium carbonate content, non-saline, moderately alkaline reaction, very low organic matter and nitrogen content, with low cation exchange capacity, with the design in completely randomized blocks (CRBD), with three replications, in planting in April, evaluating five plants, ten pods and ten representative grains per plot. The results obtained indicate that the evaluated lima bean genotypes with colored grains were tolerant to the atypical temperature conditions that occurred during their development, achieving favorable results in the main morpho-agronomic characteristics such as the start of flowering, the number of pods per plant, the length and width of the pods, the weight of 100 grains and the weight of grain per plant, which can be considered in a selection process, highlighting PILEM-18-1/21 and PILEM 18/19 for their grain characteristics with 2.71 x 1.45 x 0.66 and 2.61 x 1.49 x 0.66 cm length x width x grain thickness and with a weight of 100 grains of 194.9 and 178.5, respectively, being the largest and heaviest grains. PILEM-7/19 and PILEM-8/19 stood out for their productive potential with 567.33 and 547.18 g/plant, equivalent to 2,521.48 and 2,431.93 kg. ha-1, respectively.
