Abstract
Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre responsabilidad legal de la profesión odontológica en los profesionales de consultorios privados del cercado de Ica - 2022.
El tipo de investigación fue básico, con enfoque cuantitativo; diseño no experimental, descriptivo, transversal. Población y muestra: La población de la investigación estuvo conformada por 270 cirujanos establecidos en el cercado de Ica y colegiados en el mismo, donde se fue delimitado por el este con el Río Ica, oeste con La Huacachina, por el sur con La Angostura y por el norte con Santo Domingo, la muestra fue de 50 cirujanos dentistas que se encontraron ejerciendo la labor odontológica en los consultorios ubicados en el cercado de la ciudad de Ica. El nivel de conocimiento sobre responsabilidad legal según la profesión odontológica, se observó que los hombres presentaron una mayor prevalencia de nivel bajo en conocimiento de un 26,0%, mientras que las mujeres presentaron un mayor conocimiento del tema con un 34,0%. El grupo etario con más prevalencia de conocimiento fue de 20-30 años con un 26,0%. Con respecto al nivel de conocimiento sobre responsabilidad legal según el tiempo de experiencia laboral, se observó que los odontólogos con 5 a 10 años de experiencia tuvieron mayor prevalencia en el conocimiento limitado con un 26,0%. Según la universidad de egreso, la universidad privada tuvo mayor prevalencia del conocimiento limitado con un 52.0% y bajo nivel en el conocimiento bueno con un 18.0%; Así mismo, en la universidad nacional se obtuvo mayor porcentaje (48.0%) en conocimiento bueno. Según formación académica se observó que el que tuvo mayor conocimiento sobre responsabilidad legal fue el profesional con más capacitaciones y grados académicos posteriores a su egreso teniendo un total de 52.0%. El nivel de conocimiento sobre responsabilidad legal de la profesión odontológica fue limitado en los profesionales de consultorios privados del cercado de Ica - 2022.

The objective of the research was: To determine the level of knowledge about legal responsibility of the dental profession in professionals from private offices in the Ica area - 2022.
The type of research was basic, with a quantitative approach; non-experimental, descriptive, crosssectional design. Population and sample: The research population was made up of 270 dental surgeons established in the Ica area and registered there, where it was delimited to the east by the Ica River, to the west by La Huacachina, to the south by La Angostura and To the north with Santo Domingo, the sample was 50 dental surgeons who were found practicing dental work in the offices located in the surrounding area of the city of Ica. The level of knowledge about legal responsibility according to the dental profession, it was observed that men presented a greater prevalence of low level of knowledge of 26.0%, while women presented greater knowledge of the subject with 34.0%. %. The age group with the highest prevalence of knowledge was 20-30 years old with 26.0%. Regarding the level of knowledge about legal responsibility according to the length of work experience, it was observed that dentists with 5 to 10 years of experience had a higher prevalence of limited knowledge with 26.0%. According to the university of graduation, the private university had a higher prevalence of limited knowledge with 52.0% and a low level of good knowledge with 18.0%; Likewise, at the national university a higher percentage (48.0%) was obtained in good knowledge. According to academic training, it was observed that the one who had the greatest knowledge about legal responsibility was the professional with the most training and academic degrees after graduating, having a total of 52.0%. The level of knowledge about legal responsibility of the dental profession was limited in professionals from private offices in the Ica area - 2022.
