Resumen
Determinar relación de la atrición y abfracción relacionada a disfunción del ATM en
pacientes de un consultorio privado de Ica – 2022. Metodología: El tipo de investigación básico,
enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional. La población de la
investigación está conformada por todos los pacientes del consultorio odontológico particular
“San Joaquin”, ubicado en el distrito Ica, Provincia y departamento de Ica y se aplicó una muestra
por conveniencia de 150 pacientes. Resultados: La prevalencia de atrición según la edad de 36 y
45 años presentó grado 2 de atrición el 98.3%, el género femenino presenta grado 2 de atrición el
43.3%. La prevalencia de abfracción de manera homogénea en edad de 36 a 45 años y 26 a 55
años presentó 100.0%, así mismo según el género masculino presentó abfracción el 56.7%. En
cuanto a los casos que presentaron disfunción de ATM y atrición, en edad de 36 a 45 años con
chasquido derecho el 78.1% y según el género femenino presentó abfracción con clic bilateral el
71.4%. Conclusión: Si existe relación entre la atrición y abfracción con disfunción del ATM en
pacientes de un consultorio privado de Ica - 2022, resultando una relación estadísticamente
significancia de 0,000 < 0.05 realizado con la prueba Chi-cuadrado.
Determine the relationship of attrition and abfraction related to TMJ dysfunction in patients from a private office in Ica - 2022. Methodology: Type of basic research, quantitative approach, non-experimental, descriptive and correlational design. The research population is made up of all patients from the private dental office “San Joaquín”, located in the Ica district, Province and department of Ica and a convenience sample of 150 patients was applied. Results: The prevalence of attrition according to the age of 36 and 45 years presented grade 2 of attrition 98.3%, the female gender presented grade 2 of attrition 43.3%. The prevalence of abfraction homogeneously in ages from 36 to 45 years and 26 to 55 years presented 100.0%, likewise according to the male gender, 56.7% presented abfraction. Regarding the cases that presented TMJ dysfunction and attrition, 78.1% of those aged between 36 and 45 years had right clicking and 71.4% presented abfraction with bilateral clicking according to the female gender. Conclusion: If there is a relationship between attrition and abfraction with TMJ dysfunction in patients from a private office in Ica - 2022, resulting in a statistically significant relationship of 0.000 < 0.05 performed with the Chi-square test.
