The main objective of this research is to apply the Hec-ras and Iber hydraulic models in the calculation of the total scour of the Sacta bridge. Considering the great importance of scour in the design of bridges, it will be very useful for consultants and professionals who prepare bridge files to have valuable information to carry out their designs in a practical, simple and more realistic way. The research that has been carried out is of the applied-transversal type with a quantitative approach, at a correlational level and with a quasi-experimental design. The study sample is the Sacta bridge in the Santiago district. Hydraulic simulation was used as the main technique and the computer equipment as an instrument, which gave us as main result the values of total scour depth in the abutments of the Sacta bridge. with the Iber model it was obtained that the left abutment presents a total scour of 4.36m while in the right abutment it presents a total scour of 3.26m and with the Hec-ras model it was obtained that the left abutment presents a total scour of 7.24m while which in the right abutment presents a total scour of 6.90m. Finally, it has been shown that the application of hydraulic models positively influences the calculation of the total scour of the Sacta bridge. When obtaining the total scour parameters satisfactorily directly (Iber) and indirectly (Hec-ras).
