Enrocados.
In the following thesis our general objective is to evaluate the influence of multivariate hydrological analysis applying the hydrograph method with HEC HMS for the design of hydraulic works against flooding in the San Ignacio II – Humay- Pisco. To do this, the study area was digitized, the 12.5 x12.5m DEM images from the Alos Palsar satellite were downloaded for processing in the ArcGIS software, where its geomorphological parameters, which are the characteristics of the basin, were obtained. The next step that was carried out was the processing of meteorological data obtained from SENAHMI for a period of time from 2000-2019. And finally, the values obtained were entered into the Hydrologic Engineering Center-Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC HMS) for their respective multivariate analysis with the hydrograph method. As a result, for a return period of 140 years, the unit hydrograph was obtained, the design flow of 11.1 m3/sec. Regarding hydraulic works against flooding, three alternatives were explained: Gabions, breakwaters and castled.
