Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general, establecer la relación de la satisfacción
laboral del enfermero con el cuidado del paciente, en el servicio de Neonatología del Hospital de
Ica 2023. Metodología: Enfoque cuantitativo, tipo transversal, nivel correlacional, método
descriptivo, diseño no experimental. Población: Personal de enfermería del servicio de
neonatología. Muestra: 42 participantes. Instrumentos: cuestionario Font-Roja, para la variable
satisfacción laboral, lista de chequeo validado por 05 expertos para la variable cuidado del
paciente. El procesamiento de datos se realiza a través la estadística descriptiva con el programa
Excel y la estadística inferencial con pruebas de Rho de Spearman, Chi cuadrado, y escala de
valoración Baremo, a través de un paquete estadístico SPSS-28. Resultados: al aplicarse la prueba
de Rho de Spearman para la hipótesis general se obtuvo el valor de Significancia 0,000 < 0.05, y
el valor del Coeficiente de correlación lineal de las variables es – 0.518, este valor negativo indica
que las variables se correlacionan inversamente. Conclusión: La satisfacción laboral del
enfermero del hospital de Ica tiene relación inversa con el cuidado del paciente, es decir a mayor
satisfacción laboral, inadecuado cuidado del paciente.
The general objective of this research is to establish the relationship between the job satisfaction of nursing staff and patient care in the Neonatology Service of the Ica 2023 Hospital. Methodology: Quantitative approach, cross-sectional type, correlational level, descriptive method, non-experimental design. Population: Nursing staff of the Neonatology Service. Sample: 42 participants. Instruments: Font-Roja questionnaire for the job satisfaction variable, checklist validated by 05 experts for the patient care variable. Data processing is carried out through descriptive statistics with the Excel program and inferential statistics with Spearman's Rho, Chi square and Baremo rating scale tests, through the SPSS-28 statistical package. Results: When applying Spearman's Rho test for the general hypothesis, the value of Significance 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, and the value of the Linear correlation coefficient of the variables is - 0.518, this negative value indicates that the variables are inversely correlated. Conclusion: The job satisfaction of nurses at the Ica hospital is inversely related to patient care, that is, the higher the job satisfaction, the lower the patient care.
