Resumen
La satisfacción laboral y la calidad de vida profesional son fundamentales para el bienestar del
personal de enfermería y la calidad de atención que brindan. En entornos hospitalarios,
especialmente en áreas de alta demanda como los centros quirúrgicos, estos factores pueden verse
afectados por la carga laboral, el apoyo institucional y la motivación del trabajador.
Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de satisfacción laboral y la calidad de vida
profesional del personal de enfermería del Centro Quirúrgico del Hospital Regional de Ica, 2023.
Metodología: Estudio observacional, analítico y transversal con enfoque cuantitativo. Se trabajó
con una muestra de 66 enfermeros, seleccionados de una población de 80. Se aplicaron encuestas
con cuestionarios estructurados sobre satisfacción laboral y calidad de vida profesional.
Resultados: El 69.7% del personal presentó una satisfacción laboral regular y solo el 10.6%
refirió estar altamente satisfecho. En cuanto a la calidad de vida profesional, el 60.61% indicó un
nivel alto. Se identificó una correlación positiva moderada entre satisfacción laboral y carga de
trabajo, así como con el apoyo directivo (p = 0.000). También se encontró una relación fuerte
entre las motivaciones intrínsecas y la satisfacción laboral.
Conclusiones: La satisfacción laboral influye significativamente en la calidad de vida
profesional, con una correlación positiva moderada (Rho = 0.474). Estos hallazgos refuerzan la
importancia de factores internos como la motivación y de condiciones laborales adecuadas para
mejorar el bienestar del personal de enfermería.
Job satisfaction and professional quality of life are crucial for nurses' well-being and the quality of care they provide. In hospital settings, especially in high-demand areas such as surgical centers, these factors may be influenced by workload, institutional support, and individual motivation. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of job satisfaction and the quality of life of nursing staff at the Surgical Center of the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2023. Methodology: Observational, analytical, and cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach. The sample included 66 nurses selected from a population of 80. Data collection was conducted using structured questionnaires on job satisfaction and professional quality of life. Results: A total of 69.7% of nurses reported moderate job satisfaction, while only 10.6% were highly satisfied. Regarding professional quality of life, 60.61% indicated a high level. A moderate positive correlation was found between job satisfaction and workload, as well as with managerial support (p = 0.000). Additionally, a strong correlation was observed between intrinsic motivations and job satisfaction. Conclusions: Job satisfaction significantly influences professional quality of life, with a moderate positive correlation (Rho = 0.474). These findings highlight the importance of intrinsic motivation and adequate working conditions in improving nurses' well-being.
