condiciones ambientales (ruido, temperatura e infraestructura) obtuvieron evaluaciones
desfavorables.
This study sought to analyze the association between user satisfaction and service quality in a university clinical laboratory in Ica during 2023, employing a quantitative methodology with a non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, and cross-sectional design. The sample included 160 patients evaluated through surveys that measured variables such as cordial treatment, clarity of communication, physical comfort, and ease of access. The findings revealed that, although 70% of participants expressed high overall satisfaction, critical areas were identified: 30% expressed dissatisfaction with the information provided, while environmental conditions (noise, temperature, and infrastructure) received unfavorable evaluations. Additionally, the laboratory's location and transparency in procedures were identified as problematic aspects by a significant segment of users. The study confirmed a statistically significant correlation between both variables, supporting the proposed hypotheses. The friendliness of the healthcare team was highlighted as a strength, but deficiencies in comfort and communication were noted, requiring interventions in operational management and spatial design. This research provides evidence for optimizing patient-centered care models in academic healthcare settings.
