Resumen
Identificar las actitudes sobre la enfermedad del dengue en pobladores
del Sector 1 de la Expansión Urbana en Guadalupe, Ica. Estrategia metodológica: Investigación
cuantitativa descriptiva y transversal. El diseño de la investigación realizada es no experimental,
ya que no se han realizado la manipulación de las variables. La población en estudio se compuso
por pobladores del Sector 1 de la Expansión Urbana en Guadalupe, Ica. La muestra fue tomada
de la población en estudio. Resultados y Conclusiones: Se evaluaron los saberes sobre la
enfermedad del dengue en la muestra en estudio, evidenciándose que el 88.70% protege
adecuadamente el agua, el 91.93% indica que la picadura de insecto transmite el dengue y el
58.07% conoce adecuadamente los síntomas de la enfermedad del dengue. Se evaluaron las
practicas sobre la enfermedad del dengue en la muestra en estudio, el 88.71% participa en
actividades comunitarias, el 98.39% aplica en su entorno familiar y domiciliario las medidas de
erradicación del zancudo transmisor y el 100.00% aplica en su entorno familiar y domiciliario las
medidas de higiene necesarias.
To identify attitudes about dengue in residents of Sector 1 of the Urban Expansion in Guadalupe, Ica. Methodological strategy: Descriptive and cross-sectional quantitative research. The research design is non-experimental, since no variables have been manipulated. The study population was composed of residents of Sector 1 of the Urban Expansion in Guadalupe, Ica. The sample was taken from the study population. Results and Conclusions: Knowledge about dengue in the study sample was evaluated, showing that 88.70% adequately protect water, 91.93% indicate that insect bites transmit dengue, and 58.07% adequately know the symptoms of dengue. Practices regarding dengue disease were evaluated in the sample under study, 88.71% participate in community activities, 98.39% apply eradication measures of the transmitting mosquito in their family and home environment, and 100.00% apply the necessary hygiene measures in their family and home environment.
