Resumen
El proyecto "Creación de un Dashboard en Power BI para homologar los procesos de transformación 
y carga de información en la empresa Interpublic Colombia S.A.S. Sucursal del Perú" tuvo como 
objetivo principal mejorar la gestión de la información dentro de la organización. Se identificó una 
necesidad de estandarizar y centralizar los procesos de transformación y carga de datos, así como de 
facilitar el acceso y análisis de la información para la toma de decisiones. 
Para abordar esta necesidad, se propuso la implementación de un dashboard en Power BI que 
permitiera homologar estos procesos y proporcionar una visualización clara y actualizada de los 
datos. Se utilizaron herramientas como la Metodología de Kimball para estructurar la propuesta y se 
diseñaron cinco fases para su implementación. 
Durante el desarrollo del proyecto, se realizó la extracción y limpieza de datos de diversas fuentes, 
se llevó a cabo la transformación de los mismos y se almacenaron en un servidor propio de la 
compañía con SQL Server. Se utilizaron herramientas como SSIS y Python para la extracción de 
datos de diferentes fuentes. Además, se diseñó y se implementó un KPI sobre la reincidencia de las 
PQR's, que se automatizó en SQL para su obtención diaria. 
Una vez completada la fase de preparación de datos, se procedió a la creación del dashboard en 
Power BI, que permitía visualizar información relevante sobre las PQR's y otros indicadores 
relacionados. Este dashboard proporcionó una visión unificada y en tiempo real de la información, 
lo que facilitó la toma de decisiones informadas y estratégicas.
The main objective of the project "Creation of a Dashboard in Power BI to standardize the transformation and loading of information processes in the company Interpublic Colombia S.A.S. Sucursal del Perú" was to improve information management within the organization. A need was identified to standardize and centralize data transformation and loading processes, as well as to facilitate access and analysis of information for decision making. To address this need, the implementation of a Power BI dashboard was proposed that would standardize these processes and provide a clear and updated visualization of the data. Tools such as the Kimball Methodology were used to structure the proposal and five phases were designed for its implementation. During the development of the project, data was extracted and cleaned from various sources, transformed and stored on the company's own server with SQL Server. Tools such as SSIS and Python were used to extract data from different sources. In addition, a KPI on the recurrence of PQRs was designed and implemented, which was automated in SQL for daily collection. Once the data preparation phase was completed, the dashboard was created in Power BI, which allowed viewing relevant information about the PQRs and other related indicators. This dashboard provided a unified, real-time view of the information, which facilitated informed and strategic decision making.
