MINERÍA S.A.C.
This report for professional sufficiency shows the selection of microfiltering equipment, design and on-board assembly in a 6040FS hydraulic shovel from the company COSAPI MINERÍA S.A.C. This new microfiltration system will carry out additional filtration and in parallel to the system that the hydraulic shovel has from the factory, with the aim of obtaining a cleaner lubricant and thus extend the useful life of the hydraulic oil and, consequently, take care of the hydraulic components that interact with this oil. The installation of this microfiltering equipment was proposed to be on board since in this way it will ensure that the oil in circulation is as clean as possible in real time, so that it can be used in the different hydraulic components of the equipment during operation. The monitoring of the operation of this new installed system is also shown through collected oil samples, to demonstrate the results of the state of the lubricant after microfiltration. After this, comparative tables and trend graphs are prepared, which show the level of contamination, presence of additives and degradation that the oil presents in the system. Finally, with this data we can compare the behavior of the oil before and after microfiltration, in order to be able to observe the benefit or prejudice that this additional filtration can generate in the equipment.
