Resumen
Determinar la prevalencia de la actividad física que realizan las gestantes atendidas y
la percepción de sus efectos durante su embarazo en el Centro de Salud la Angostura Ica año
2024. Metodología: Estudio no experimental, descriptivo y transversal. De una población de 158
gestantes atendidas en el 2023, se obtuvo una muestra de 112. Se usó dos instrumentos de
recolección de información, validado por juicio de expertos. Resultados: El 62% realizaron
actividad física durante su embarazo, mientras el 38% no realizaron. El 72% de las gestantes
percibieron efectos benéficos al realizar actividad física durante su gestación, por otro lado, el
28% mencionaron que no hubo beneficio. Conclusión: La mayoría de las gestantes percibieron
efectos benéficos al realizar actividad física de leve a moderada intensidad durante su periodo de
gestación. Recomendación: Se debe promover con mucho énfasis la actividad física en las
gestantes, ya que puede contribuir a su bienestar, al desarrollo del feto y favorecer su parto.
To determine the prevalence of physical activity performed by pregnant women treated and the perception of its effects during their pregnancy at the La Angostura Health Center in Ica 2024. Two information collection instruments were used, validated by expert judgment. Results: 62% performed physical activity during their pregnancy, while 38% did not. 72% of pregnant women perceived beneficial effects from performing physical activity during their pregnancy, on the other hand, 28% mentioned that there was no benefit. Conclusion: The majority of pregnant women perceived beneficial effects from performing physical activity of mild to moderate intensity during their gestation period. Recommendation: Physical activity should be strongly promoted in pregnant women, as it can contribute to their well-being, development of the fetus and promote childbirth.
