Resumen
El propósito del estudio es determinar la relación entre la gestión de calidad y el licenciamiento
institucional en un instituto de educación superior pedagógico público de Ica, 2024. El estudio
adopta una metodología de tipo básico, con un enfoque correlacional-transversal y un diseño no
experimental. La población estuvo compuesta por 35 docentes del instituto público Juan XXIII
de Ica, y se utilizó un muestreo aleatorio deliberado, obteniendo una muestra de 32 docentes. El
instrumento de recolección de datos fue un cuestionario. Los resultados revelaron un coeficiente
de correlación de Pearson obtenido (r = 0.665, p < 0.000) indica una relación buena y significativa
entre las variables. La implementación de sistemas de gestión de calidad en instituciones de
educación superior pedagógica, en el contexto del proceso de licenciamiento, se muestra como
una estrategia efectiva para promover la mejora continua. Al establecer estándares claros y exigir
su cumplimiento, el licenciamiento actúa como un catalizador para la implementación de procesos
organizacionales eficientes y eficaces. Esta dinámica no solo garantiza el cumplimiento de los
requisitos externos, sino que también contribuye al desarrollo de una cultura institucional
orientada a la excelencia.
The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between quality management and institutional licensing in a public pedagogical higher education institute in Ica, 2024. The study adopts a basic type methodology, with a correlational-transversal approach and a nonexperimental design. The population was made up of 35 teachers from the Juan XXIII public institute of Ica, and deliberate random sampling was used, obtaining a sample of 32 teachers. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire. The results revealed a Pearson correlation coefficient obtained (r = 0.665, p < 0.000) indicating a good and significant relationship between the variables. The implementation of quality management systems in pedagogical higher education institutions, in the context of the licensing process, is shown to be an effective strategy to promote continuous improvement. By establishing clear standards and enforcing them, licensing acts as a catalyst for the implementation of efficient and effective organizational processes. This dynamic not only guarantees compliance with external requirements, but also contributes to the development of an institutional culture oriented toward excellence.
