Efectividad de la educación y la relación con la prevención del dengue Caserío Virgen de Fátima San Juan Bautista Ica - 2023

Abstract

El trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo Determinar la relación entre la efectividad de la educación y la prevención del dengue en el Caserío Virgen de Fátima. Ica – 2023. El método fue no experimental, descriptivo y correlacional de corte transversal. Los instrumentos empleados fueron: La escala de Likert dicotómico, utilizando un cuestionario de 20 preguntas para obtener información sobre el Dengue y para las medidas preventivas se utilizó 15 ítems de preguntas para medir la prevención. La encuesta se realizó a 64 pobladores quienes firmaron consentimiento informado. Para el estudio estadístico de la información, se empleó el Chi cuadrado mediante el software SPSS versión 24. Los resultados obtenidos del nivel de conocimiento sobre el dengue fueron positivos en el Pre Test del 40,6%, y en el Post Test del 95,3%, en cuanto a las medidas preventivas, se registró un 87,5% que implementaron buenas acciones de prácticas apropiadas sobre el dengue por parte de la comunidad. Se concluye que existe relación significativa entre el conocimiento y medidas preventivas en los pobladores del Caserío Virgen de Fátima, siendo necesario continuar aplicando sesiones educativas que permitirá monitorear el estado de salud de la población.

The objective of the research work was to determine the relationship between the effectiveness of education and the prevention of dengue in the Virgen de Fátima Village. Ica – 2023. The method was non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional correlational. The instruments used were: The dichotomous Likert scale, using a 20-question questionnaire to obtain information about Dengue and for preventive measures, 15 question items were used to measure prevention. The survey was carried out on 64 residents who signed informed consent. For the statistical study of the information, the Chi square test was used using the SPSS software version 24. The results obtained from the level of knowledge about dengue were positive in the Pre Test of 40.6%, and in the Post Test of 95.3%, regarding preventive measures, 87.5% were recorded to have implemented good actions of appropriate practices regarding dengue by the community. It is concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and preventive measures in the residents of the Virgen de Fátima Village, making it necessary to continue applying educational sessions that will allow monitoring the health status of the population.
