Gestión directiva y compromiso institucional en el Instituto Superior Tecnológico Público “Catalina Buendía de Pecho” de Ica

Abstract

Este estudio se propone determinar la relación que existe entre la calidad de la Gestión directiva con el nivel de compromiso institucional en el Instituto Superior Tecnológico Público “Catalina Buendía de Pecho” de Ica. El enfoque asumido es el cuantitativo, es investigación básica, retrospectiva, transversal y no experimental. La muestra estuvo constituida por 63 docentes de 5 especialidades y fueron seleccionados de manera intencional y por conveniencia. Las técnicas empleadas fueron el fichaje y la encuesta, mientras que los instrumentos fueron las fichas bibliográficas y el cuestionario de encuesta. Los resultados indican que en la variable Gestión directiva el 60,32% (38 estudiantes) se ubicaron en la categoría Regular, pero el 26,98% (17 estudiantes) se encuentran en un nivel óptimo y solo el 1,59% de docentes tienen un nivel Muy óptimo. Igualmente, en la variable Compromiso institucional 40 docentes (63,49%) se han ubicado en el nivel Regular, de manera que el 82,54% (52 docentes) se ubicó entre los niveles Regular y Muy óptimo. El coeficiente de correlación es 0.4931515, que indica que la relación es positiva pero moderada y el p-valor es 0,0247569 que indica que la relación es positiva pero no lo suficientemente fuerte como para aseverar que una variables influye fuertemente en la otra. La conclusión revela que hay relación positiva pero moderada entre la gestión directiva y el compromiso institucional en el Instituto donde se realizó esta investigación.

This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of management and the level of institutional commitment at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Público “Catalina Buendía de Pecho” in Ica. The approach adopted is quantitative, basic, retrospective, cross-sectional and non experimental research. The sample consisted of 63 teachers from 5 specialties and they were selected intentionally and by convenience. The techniques used were the fiching and the survey, while the instruments were the bibliographic cards and the survey questionnaire. The results indicate that 60.32% (38 students) were in the Regular category, but 26.98% (17 students) are at an optimal level and only 1.59% of teachers have a Very optimal level. Similarly, in the Institutional Commitment variable, 40 teachers (63.49%) were placed in the Regular level, so that 82.54% (52 teachers) were located between the Regular and Very good levels. The correlation coefficient is 0.4931515, which indicates that the relationship is positive but moderate and the p value is 0.0247569 which indicates that the relationship is positive but not strong enough to assert that one variable strongly influences the other. The conclusion reveals that there is a positive but moderate relationship between management and institutional commitment in the institute where this research was conducted.
