Resumen
El objetivo de este trabajo es desarrollar un plan de mantenimiento óptimo
basado en el enfoque RCM para aumentar la disponibilidad de los camiones
eléctricos 930 E – 5 en la unidad minera Chinalco S.A., se determinó que
actualmente no se cuenta con un adecuado plan de mantenimiento para evitar
averías de los camiones. La investigación tuvo una metodología de enfoque
cuantitativo, de tipo aplicada, empleando un nivel descriptivo y diseño no
experimental, y la muestra la conformó un camión eléctrico 930E – 5. Como
resultado se observó un MTBF promedio de 32.70 horas y un MTTR de 6.55
horas en promedio, la disponibilidad promedio se sitúa en un 83.43%, mientras
que se han registrado 126 fallas en total. En conclusión, se definió un plan óptimo
de mantenimiento fundamentado en la metodología RCM, el cual mejora
significativamente la producción de la mina.
