Resumen
El proyecto de investigación tiene por objetivo diseñar un relleno sanitario para la provincia de
Palpa, Ica, 2022. La metodología estuvo basada en un estudio aplicado y no experimental de
nivel descriptivo. Respecto al desarrollo del proyecto se tuvo como información base la guía de
diseño de relleno sanitario del MINAM, datos censales del 2017 INEI y la caracterización de
residuos sólidos de Palpa. De los resultados obtenidos la generación Per cápita domiciliaria
resulto 0.40 kg/hab/día y municipal 0.423 kg/hab/día. La densidad promedio de los residuos
sólidos municipales es 171.58 kg/m3 y la humedad es de 45.78%. El periodo de vida útil
considerado para el relleno sanitario es de 5 años, resultando la población de diseño para el año
2028 de 8008 habitantes y una generación de residuos sólidos de 3560.24 kg/día, según este
último dato se seleccionó el diseño de un relleno sanitario de tipo manual y para el método de
construcción se seleccionó el método de trinchera. Respecto al área total para el relleno
sanitario se determinó un espacio de 5 ha.
The research project aims to design a sanitary landfill for the province of Palpa, Ica, 2022. The methodology was based on an applied and non-experimental study at a descriptive level. Regarding the development of the project, the MINAM landfill design guide, 2017 INEI census data and the characterization of solid waste from Palpa were used as base information. From the results obtained, the household generation per capita was 0.40 kg/inhabitant/day and municipal generation was 0.423 kg/inhabitant/day. The average density of municipal solid waste is 171.58 kg/m3 and the humidity is 45.78%. The useful life period considered for the landfill is 5 years, resulting in the design population for the year 2028 of 8008 inhabitants and a generation of solid waste of 3560.24 kg/day. According to this last data, the design of a landfill was selected manual type toilet and for the construction method the trench method was selected.
