niveles de HD fueron los que obtuvieron mejor respuesta en ganancia de peso T2 y T3 (1 y 2%);
The objective of this research work is to evaluate three levels of dehydrated egg powder (HD) at 0, 1 and 2% in diets for guinea pigs in the growth process with exclusion of forage, with which three treatments were formed in the stage of growth. The work was carried out on the farm of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics of the National University San Luis Gonzaga of Ica, located in the district of Alto Larán, province of Chincha, region of ICA, the method used was experimental, for which that 63 male guinea pigs were needed, from crosses with the Andean breed, 07 days old. There were no statistical differences in the initial weight, but there were in the final weight, obtaining: T1 830 g (0% HD), T2 885 g (1% HD) and T3 895 g (2% HD). Regarding feed conversion, better results were obtained in the treatments whose HD levels were 1 and 2%, these being 3.83 and 3.75 respectively. Likewise, significant statistical differences were found for the consumption of total dry matter (balanced food only). The carcass yields achieved were 71.4% and 718% for the treatments whose HD levels were those that obtained the best response in weight gain T2 and T3 (1 and 2%); Regarding the covering fat that the carcass presents, it was reduced in the treatments whose HD level was higher.
