Abstract
Determinar los factores maternos y neonatales relacionados al desgarro perineal en puérperas por parto vaginal atendidas en el Hospital Santa María del Socorro de Ica, 2019.
Es de tipo observacional, retrospectivo y transversal, de nivel relacional, con un diseño no experimental, cuya muestra fue de 200 gestantes con desgarros perineal que acudieron al Hospital Santa María del Socorro durante el año 2019, donde se empleó el Chi cuadrado como prueba estadística.
Dentro de los resultados tenemos, para el factor materno, el 55,5% tenían edades de 20-28 años, el 37% son secundíparas, el 86,5% no tiene anemia y solo un 12% anemia leve, con respecto al factor fetal tenemos, que el sexo masculino fue quien predomino con un 55% y el ponderado fetal fue normal en su mayoría con un 90%. Existe asociación significativa en tres factores: edad (p 0,000), ponderado fetal (p 0,002), y sexo del recién nacido (p,000).
Los factores asociados significativamente al desgarro perineal fue la edad materna, el ponderado fetal y el sexo del recién nacido.

The factors significantly associated with perineal tear were maternal age, fetal weight and sex of the newborn.
