Relación entre la infección del tracto urinario y preeclampsia en pacientes atendidas en el Hospital René Toche Groppo EsSalud Chincha, 2021

Abstract

Se realizó un estudio cuyo objetivo general fue: determinar la relación entre la infección del tracto urinario y preeclampsia en pacientes atendidas en el Hospital René Toche Groppo EsSalud Chincha, 2021. La metodología empleada fue de tipo observacional, retrospectivo y de corte transversal, de nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental. La muestra con la que se trabajó fue de 156 gestantes con diagnóstico de infección del tracto urinario (ITU) y preeclampsia, utilizando la técnica documental para el recojo de la información, teniendo como instrumento la ficha de recolección de datos. Los resultados fueron: del total de las infecciones del tracto urinario que fueron 263 casos en el año 2021, el 40.69% sólo ITU y 59.31% presentaron ITU y preeclampsia de los cuales, el 38,5% fue de bacteriuria asintomática, 61.5% cistitis y ningún caso de pielonefritis. En la bacteriuria asintomática el 26,3% tuvieron preeclampsia sin signos de severidad; en la cistitis la preeclampsia sin signos de severidad fue del 36,5%. Se concluye que no existe correlación significativa entre la infección del tracto urinario y preeclampsia en pacientes atendidas en el Hospital René Toche Groppo EsSalud Chincha, 2021 A study was carried out whose general objective was: to determine the relationship between urinary tract infection and preeclampsia in patients treated at the Hospital René Toche Groppo EsSalud Chincha, 2021.
