pacientes.
OBJETIVE Determine the factors associated with non-adherence to treatment in patients with dyslipidemia treated at the La Palma Grande Health Center, Ica 2023. METHODOLOGY This study was applied and descriptive, conducted using a non-experimental approach. The population analyzed consisted of 81 patients receiving care at the La Palma Health Center, from whom a sample of 68 was selected. The survey technique was used to collect data, using a specially designed form to compile the necessary information. RESULTS The findings reveal that the level of treatment commitment is low: only 23.53% of those surveyed adequately follow medical instructions. Among the main causes of this lack of adherence are socioeconomic factors, such as difficulty covering medication costs due to insufficient income. Treatment-related obstacles were also identified, such as lack of knowledge about how to properly take medications and the occurrence of side effects. Finally, personal patient factors also play a role, such as a lack of awareness about the importance of following treatment and how to take care of themselves, or the belief that their health care does not depend solely on themselves. CONCLUSION It is concluded that low treatment adherence in patients with dyslipidemia treated at the La Palma Grande Health Center is primarily associated with economic factors, difficulties related to the therapeutic regimen, and patients' own attitudes or perceptions.
