Resumen
Establecer la asociación entre los factores sociodemográficos y el consumo de
psicofármacos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Vitaliza de Ica, 2024.
Método: Investigación aplicada, de nivel descriptivo correlacional, de diseño no
experimental, corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 160 usuarios que fueron
atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario Vitaliza, durante el segundo trimestre
del 2024, a quienes se aplicó un cuestionario para medir la asociación entre los factores
sociodemográficos y el consumo de psicofármacos. Se empleo la prueba estadística de chi
cuadrada en el programa Minitab versión 22.0.
Resultados: Se estableció que existe una asociación estadísticamente significativa con un
p<0.05 para la prueba de Chi cuadrado, entre las variables sociodemográficas de la edad
(p=0.000), la situación de pareja (p=0.035) y el nivel de estudio (p=0.001) con el consumo
de psicofármacos en los usuarios que fueron atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental
Comunitario Vitaliza, durante el segundo trimestre del 2024; Así mismo se obtuvo un p>0.05
para la prueba de chi cuadrado, entre las dimensiones sociodemográficas del sexo (p=0.752),
la situación laboral (p=0.219) y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas (p=0.143) indicando
que no existe una asociación con las dimensiones mencionadas.
Conclusiones: Existe una asociación entre los factores sociodemográficas y el consumo de
psicofármacos en los usuarios que fueron atendidos en el Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario
Vitaliza, durante el segundo trimestre del 2024.

The chi square statistical test was used in the Minitab version 22.0 program.
