The objective of this research thesis was to monitor environmental noise to improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of the district of Santiago – Ica, 2022. The methodology is applied research, the level of research is explanatory descriptive, the research design is non-experimental, the sample was 160 residents of the district of Santiago who participated voluntarily. The results showed that the significance level of 0.000 < 0.005 and an inverse correlation coefficient of 65.7% that confirms that the higher the environmental noise, the lower the quality of life of the inhabitants. The Conclusion was able to identify that ambient noise levels exceed the permitted limits of 60 dBA in night shift at two points and 70 dBA in day shift at three points. Being his average in the night shift between 56.79 to 60.19 and in the day shift between 65.83 to 75.75.
