Harina de cáscara de naranja en polvo en (Cavia porcellus) sobre los índices productivos

Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación se ejecutó en la finca de la Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria, Escuela de Medicina Veterinaria y zootecnia, Universidad Nacional de San Luis Gonzaga, Ica, ubicada en el Distrito de Altolarán, Provincia de Chincha, Departamento del ICA. la evaluación no incluyó el crecimiento del alimento. Tres niveles de 0%, 2% y 3% de cáscara de naranja en polvo en el alimento para cuyes, constituyeron los tres tratamientos en la etapa de crecimiento. El método utilizado utilizó 63 cuyes, todos machos, los animales previamente se seleccionaron fueron de una estirpe mejorada obtenida por cruce con la raza Peruana, de 1 semanas de edad. Los resultados no mostraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el peso inicial entre tratamientos, pero sí en cuanto al peso final alcanzado: control 826 g (0% HDCN), T1 875 g (2% HDCN) y T2 838. g (3% HDCN). En cuanto al índice de conversión del alimento, se lograron mejores resultados con los tratamientos con niveles de HDCN de 2% y 3%, 3,58 y 3,54, respectivamente. Además, existe una diferencia estadísticamente significativa en el consumo total de materia seca (solo alimento balanceado), que será de aproximadamente 2171 gramos en 2025 Los rendimientos de canal alcanzaron 68.60% y 69.10% para los tratamientos cuyos niveles de HDCN fueron los que obtuvieron mejores en incrementos de pesos T1 y T2.

This research work was carried out on the farm of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, School of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, National University of San Luis Gonzaga, Ica, located in the District of Alto larán, Province of Chincha, Department of the ICA. The evaluation did not include feed growth. Three levels of 1%, 2% and 3% of orange peel powder in the guinea pig feed constituted the three treatments in the growth stage. The method used used 60 guinea pigs, all males, the animals previously selected were from an improved strain obtained by crossing with the Peruvian breed, 2 weeks old. The results did not show statistically significant differences in the initial weight between treatments, but they did show differences in the final weight achieved: control 826 g (0% HDCN), T0 838 g (1% HDCN), T1 875 g (2% HDCN) and T2 896. g (3% HDCN). Regarding the feed conversion index, better results were achieved with treatments with HDCN levels of 2% and 3%, 3.7 and 3.6, respectively. Additionally, there is a statistically significant difference in total dry matter consumption (feed only), which will be approximately 2171 grams in 2025. The carcass yields reached 69.25% and 69.30% for the treatments whose HDCN levels were the ones that obtained the best in T1 and T2 weight increases.
