Comportamiento materno sobre alimentación y anemia en niños menores 3 años en el Centro de Salud Guadalupe 2023

Resumen
El estudio buscó determinar la relación entre el comportamiento materno sobre la alimentación y la anemia en niños menores de 3 años en el Centro de Salud Guadalupe, 2023. Además, corresponde a una investigación básica, donde se contó con el enfoque cuantitativo, nivel correlacional y diseño no experimental, abarcando una muestra de 100 madres, aplicando las técnicas de la encuesta y el análisis documental, mientras que, los instrumentos fueron el cuestionario. Asimismo, los resultados revelaron que respecto al comportamiento de las madres el 60.0% comenzó la alimentación complementaria a los seis meses, el 60.0% mantiene la alimentación con lactancia, el 70.0% alimenta a sus hijos con alimentos de la olla familiar, el 50.0% emplea aceites o mantequilla en la preparación de los alimentos, el 30.0% ofrece caldo de verduras a media mañana, el 50.0% a veces opta por alimentos altos en hierro, el 45.0% altos en carbohidratos, el 55.0% en vitaminas, el 50.0% en proteínas, el 50.0% mantiene limpia el área de preparación de alimentos y el 70.0% asean los utensilios. En cuanto a la anemia de los infantes evaluados estos presentaron los siguientes niveles de anemia, el 60.0% leve, el 30.0% moderado, y el 10.0% severa. Concluyendo que el comportamiento materno sobre la alimentación se relacionó significativamente con la presencia de anemia con un valor de p<0.05.

The study sought to determine the relationship between maternal behavior regarding feeding and anemia in children under 3 years of age at the Guadalupe Health Center, 2023. In addition, it corresponds to a basic research, where the quantitative approach, correlational level and non-experimental design, covering a sample of 100 mothers, applying survey techniques and documentary analysis, while the instruments were the questionnaire. Likewise, the results revealed that regarding the behavior of the mothers, 60.0% began complementary feeding at six months, 60.0% maintain breastfeeding, 70.0% feed their children with food from the family pot, 50.0% use oils or butter in food preparation, 30.0% offer vegetable broth mid-morning, 50.0% sometimes opt for foods high in iron, 45.0% high in carbohydrates, 55.0% in vitamins, 50.0% in proteins, 50.0% keep the food preparation area clean and 70.0% clean the utensils. Regarding the anemia of the infants evaluated, they presented the following levels of anemia, 60.0% mild, 30.0% moderate, and 10.0% severe. Concluding that maternal feeding behavior was significantly related to the presence of anemia with a value of p<0.05.
