The objective of this thesis, entitled "The Right to Privacy and New Information Technologies in Peru, 2020," was to determine the relationship between the right to privacy and new information technologies in the Province and Department of Ica, 2020. The hypothesis stated is that the fundamental right to privacy is linked to the use of digital technologies, given that these technological transformations pose emerging challenges in ensuring the protection of privacy in the Province and Department of Ica in the period until 2024. The research is framed within the quantitative paradigm, classified as basic and explanatory in scope. The design employed was non-experimental, as the conditions of variables X and Y were not altered. Likewise, it was an observational study, as only the values of the variables were recorded and evaluated without modifying the behavior of the independent variable. The study sampled 115 legal actors, distributed among lawyers, judges, and prosecutors. The techniques used to collect the information were observation, survey and document analysis.
