This thesis focuses on the development of a Broadband Network using optical fiber, with the aim of optimizing access to Internet and telephone services for the inhabitants of La Primavera annex, located in the district of Imperial, in the Province of Cañete. Through a demographic analysis, it was possible to estimate the number of beneficiaries of the project, as well as determine the bandwidth required for the design of the network, which allowed the selection of the necessary equipment to ensure efficient operation and adequate transport of information. The optical transport network will be composed of ten nodes, with the Imperial district as the Aggregation Node. From this node, the optical fiber will be laid to the Distribution Nodes, which will be connected wirelessly to the localities selected for the project. Likewise, the distances from the Aggregation Node to the Distribution Nodes were calculated, which will facilitate the selection of optical interface equipment that meets the design requirements and guarantees quality transmission, offering an optimal service. The wireless access network will establish connections between each district capital and its respective localities, using LTE technology in the free 5.8 GHz band. In total, 300 localities will benefit from this project, and 4 institutions (schools, police stations, health centers) have been selected to receive the intranet service. Finally, the final design will be presented along with the equipment that will integrate the fiber optic network and the wireless access network, thus providing Internet and telephone services to the 300 benefited users.
