Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre las condiciones
sanitarias y las prácticas preventivas frente a la parasitosis en madres de niños menores de 3 años
en el Centro Poblado El Bosque, Ica – 2023. Material y Método: Estudio descriptivo,
correlacional, de diseño no experimental, la muestra fue de 126 madres, el tipo de muestreo es
probabilístico, la técnica fue la entrevista y la observación, los instrumentos aplicados fue una
ficha de recolección de datos y un cuestionario. La confiabilidad del instrumento fue con prueba
piloto con 0.875 que es buena. Resultados: Condiciones sanitarias el 88.10% son inadecuadas y
según dimensión predominaron, condiciones físicas de los hogares el 95.24% tienen pared de
madera o estera, el 84.92% tiene falso piso; el 58.73% cocinan a leña; según condiciones sanitarias
de la vivienda el 100% de la población no cuenta con instalación de desagüe, el 65.08% almacena
agua en bidones; el 93.65% tienen letrina; el 55.56% de pobladores entierra y quema su basura y
según riesgo por entorno el 85.71% de pobladores cría animales. En cuanto a Prácticas preventivas
según la dimensión higiene personal, el 72.22% tienen inadecuada prácticas preventivas y en la
dimensión higiene alimentaria el 79.37% están en nivel inadecuado. Conclusiones: Se acepta la
hipótesis de investigación donde se demuestra la relación entre las condiciones sanitarias y las
prácticas preventivas frente a la parasitosis en madres de niños menores de 3 años en el Centro
Poblado El Bosque, Ica – 2023, con un valor de X2= 6.941.
The objective of this research was: To determine the relationship between sanitary conditions and preventive practices against parasitosis in mothers of children under 3 years of age in the Centro Poblado El Bosque, Ica - 2023. Material and Method: Descriptive, correlational study, non-experimental design, the sample was 126 mothers, the type of sampling is probabilistic, the technique was interview and observation, the instruments applied were a data collection form and a questionnaire. The reliability of the instrument was with a pilot test with 0.875, which is good. Results: Sanitary conditions 88.10% are inadequate and according to dimension, physical conditions of the homes 95.24% have wooden or mat walls, 84.92% have false floors; 58.73% cook with firewood; according to sanitary conditions of the house 100% of the population does not have a sewage system, 65.08% store water in jerry cans; 93.65% have a latrine; 55.56% of the population buries and burns their garbage and according to environmental risk 85.71% of the population raises animals. In terms of preventive practices according to the personal hygiene dimension, 72.22% have inadequate preventive practices and in the food hygiene dimension 79.37% have inadequate practices. Conclusions: The research hypothesis is accepted where the relationship between sanitary conditions and preventive practices against parasitosis in mothers of children under 3 years of age in the Centro Poblado El Bosque, Ica - 2023 is demonstrated, with a value of X2= 6,941.
