Factores relacionados a la adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles en el Hospital Santa María del Socorro, Ica 2024

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre los factores asociados y el nivel de adherencia al tratamiento en pacientes con enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles en el Hospital Santa María del Socorro, Ica – 2024. Método: Estudio de tipo aplicada, enfoque cuantitativo nivel correlacional, diseño no experimental y de método hipotético-deductivo. La muestra fue de 92 pacientes seleccionados por muestra simple aleatorio, los instrumentos utilizados fueron dos cuestionarios estructurados según dimensiones que estaban previamente elaborados y validados por otros autores. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo que se plasmó en tabulaciones emitidas por el SPSS V.25 donde se observa la frecuencia y porcentaje, y para el análisis inferencial se empleó la prueba estadística no paramétrica Rho de Spearman para las correlaciones. Resultados: 49% de los participantes tienen entre 51 a 60 años, 68% son hombres, 33% tiene secundaria completa, 49% son convivientes, 54% dependientes. Se obtuvo un Rho de Spearman 0.813 que señala una correlación positiva muy alta entre factores relacionados y adherencia al tratamiento, en relación con las dimensiones de los factores con adherencia al tratamiento (Rho=0.698) para factor socioeconómico, (Rho = 0.731) factor asociado a la entidad de salud, (Rho = 0.738) factor asociado a la medicación y (Rho = 0.695) factor asociado al paciente. Conclusiones: Se obtuvo que existe una relación altamente significativa entre los factores relacionados y la adherencia al tratamiento, siendo el factor asociado a la medicación el que más relevancia tiene para que se logre una correcta adherencia al tratamiento.

Objective: Determine the relationship between related factors and the level of adherence to treatment in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases at the Santa María del Socorro Hospital, Ica – 2024. Method: This applied study employed a quantitative, correlational approach with a nonexperimental, hypothetical-deductive design. The sample consisted of 92 patients selected by simple random sampling. The instruments used were two structured questionnaires, previously developed and validated by other authors, categorized by dimensions. A descriptive analysis was performed, presented in tables generated by SPSS version 25, showing frequency and percentage. For inferential analysis, Spearman's rho non-parametric statistical test was used to assess correlations. Results: 49% of participants were aged 51-60, 68% were men, 33% had completed secondary education, 49% were cohabitants, and 54% were dependent. A Spearman's Rho of 0.813 was obtained, indicating a very high positive correlation between associated factors and treatment adherence. This was in relation to the factors associated with treatment adherence (Rho = 0.698) for the socioeconomic factor, (Rho = 0.731) for the healthcare provider, (Rho = 0.738) for the medication, and (Rho = 0.695) for the patient. Conclusions: It was found that there is a highly significant relationship between the associated factors and treatment adherence, with the factor associated with medication being the most relevant for achieving correct treatment adherence.
