The study aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and contraception in students of a private educational institution in Ica, 2025. It was developed under a quantitative approach, of an applied type, with a correlational level and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, the population and sample, of a census nature, was made up of 105 students of the IEP Jesús Maestro de Ica, the technique used was the survey and the instrument used, the questionnaire. The results showed a direct relationship of moderate intensity between knowledge and attitudes regarding the prevention of sexually transmitted infections and the use of contraceptive methods, reflected in a statistically significant Spearman's Rho coefficient of 0.380 (p < 0.01). These findings indicate that knowledge plays an important role in shaping attitudes related to sexual and reproductive health; however, its effect is not absolute, since family, cultural, social and educational factors also intervene. Concluding that a higher level of knowledge is associated with more favorable attitudes towards prevention and self-care of sexual and reproductive health.
