participación de 2 representantes del pueblo joven a quienes se les aplicó una entrevista;
The study aimed to explain the environmental impact generated by sand depredation in Cerro Saraja – PP. JJ Santa Rosa de Lima – Ica, 2023. The methodology of the research was applied, with a non-experimental, quantitative design, with the participation of 2 representatives of the young people to whom an interview was applied; the data collection form was also applied to record the observations of the place. The technique used was through the frequency tables and the Leopold matrix. The results showed that there are a total of 105 environmental impacts in the depredation process of Cerro Saraja, of which 79 (75.2%) correspond to negative impacts compared to 26 (26.8%) that belong to the positive impact. The conclusion was to identify that in the exploration stage there areminimum magnitude values for environmental negativity in accordance with its importance. In the exploitation stage, high values (8.93) were found in the average of importance and high values (-8.33) in magnitude of environmental negativity. While in the transport and commercialization stage, intermediate values (-5.5) of magnitude in environmental negativity are evidenced compared to high values (6.9) of importance.
