Resumen
El proyecto tiene por finalidad Determinar cómo las habilidades sociales se relacionan con la
autoestima en estudiantes del quinto grado de secundaria de la Institución Educativa “Adela
Lengua de Calderón” – Ica, 2023. La metodología es básica, descriptivo, correlacional y
transversal y de diseño no experimental; en una población formada por 144 alumnos del quinto
grado de secundaria de la I.E “Adela Lengua de Calderón” – Ica, 2023; se utilizó un muestreo
deliberado al azar de toda la población para obtener la muestra, la cual estaría formada por 132
alumnos del 5to° de secundaria de la I.E “Adela Lengua de Calderón” – Ica, 2023, aplicándose
la ficha de observación como instrumento. Como resultado un coeficiente de Pearson de 0.651,
siendo un indicador de una correlación positiva media. Asimismo, el valor de significancia fue
de 0.000, esto manifiesta que, la correlación es significativa. De esta manera, se da por aceptada
la hipótesis alterna, rechazando la hipótesis nula, indicando que, si existe una correlación,
queremos decir que si hay una relación entre las cosas que estamos estudiando. Para entender
mejor lo que encontramos, organizamos los resultados en rangos o escalas de valor. Esto nos
ayuda a entender las respuestas de las personas que preguntamos y nos permite hacer un análisis
más detallado.
The project aims to determine how social skills are related to self-esteem in fifth grade secondary school students of the Educational Institution “Adela Lengua de Calderon” – Ica, 2023. The methodology is basic, descriptive, correlational and transversal and non-experimental design; in a population made up of 144 students from the fifth grade of secondary school at the I.E “Adela Lengua de Calderon” – Ica, 2023; A deliberate random sampling of the entire population was used to obtain the sample, which would be made up of 132 students from the 5th grade of secondary school at the I.E “Adela Lengua de Calderon” – Ica, 2023, applying the observation sheet as an instrument. As a result, a Pearson coefficient of 0.651, being an indicator of a medium positive correlation. Likewise, the significance value was 0.000, this shows that the correlation is significant. In this way, the alternative hypothesis is accepted, rejecting the null hypothesis, indicating that, if there is a correlation, we mean that there is a relationship between the things we are studying. To better understand what we found, we organized the results into ranges or value scales. This helps us understand the answers of the people we ask and allows us to do a more detailed analysis.
