The evangelical religion (42.2%) is predominant in the I.E. Fe y Alegría and Catholic (80%) in the I.E. N° 22511; 44% consider that the myth, the use of condoms does not prevent contagion and 42%, using two condoms are doubly protected; Cultural factors influence the level of knowledge about STIs (p=0.0009). Concluding that, social, demographic and cultural factors significantly influence the level of knowledge about STIs (p=0.000) in students of both institutions, 2023.
