Resumen
Objetivo: fue explorar como la propuesta de un plan de gestión ambiental contribuye
significativamente en la reducción del impacto ambiental en la planta metalúrgica de espesadores
y relaves, San Nicolas, Marcona. Estrategia metodológica: se basó en un enfoque descriptivo.
Comprende la revisión detallada del marco teórico y normativo, la recopilación de datos a través
de encuestas y análisis de documentos, seguido por un análisis riguroso de los datos recopilados
para identificar patrones y áreas críticas, se desarrolló un plan de gestión ambiental que incluye
estrategias específicas para abordar las deficiencias identificadas y promover la sostenibilidad
ambiental, seguido por una validación y evaluación del plan propuesto mediante la revisión de
expertos y partes interesadas, asegurando así un enfoque integral y sólido para mejorar la gestión
ambiental en la planta metalúrgica. Resultados: la prueba de hipótesis arrojó un valor de
estadístico de prueba Ji cuadrado experimental de 44.8446, para un nivel de significancia del 0.05.
Este análisis, basado en una muestra representativa de 17 individuos y 10 preguntas evaluadas,
muestra una clara perspectiva sobre la naturaleza subjetiva de los planes de mejora. Además,
resalta que el éxito del plan de gestión ambiental está estrechamente relacionado con la
efectividad en la reducción del impacto ambiental, no solo vinculado a factores técnicos.
Discusión de resultados: se destacó la importancia de considerar no solo los aspectos técnicos,
sino también la efectividad en la reducción del impacto ambiental. Además, se subraya la
naturaleza subjetiva de los planes de mejora, resaltando la necesidad de una evaluación rigurosa.
Conclusión: la estadística proporcionada mostro una clara relación entre la implementación del
plan y la reducción del impacto ambiental, lo que subraya la importancia de adoptar medidas
proactivas para gestionar los aspectos ambientales en este tipo de instalaciones. Estos hallazgos
apuntan hacia la necesidad continua de mejorar las prácticas de gestión ambiental en la industria
minera para garantizar un desarrollo sostenible y la protección del medio ambiente.
