The paved streets or roads in an urban center are a public service to which all residents have the right to request. The benefits of having a community with paved roads are undeniable; they can enhance businesses, provide accessibility or communication with the outside, increase property values, and improve the quality of life for the community. The design of pavement can be carried out using various internationally proven methods, with the AASHTO method being the most cost-effective and commonly used in the majority of projects. Although the AASHTO method allows for determining the structural characteristics of pavement, it is the Technical Standard CE.010 for urban pavements in the National Building Code of Peru that establishes parameters for factors influencing pavement design. The general objective of this thesis is to determine the influence of Technical Standard CE.010 on the design of the pavement in the urban center "El Tigre." A diverse selection of materials was employed to determine pavement design factors, including traffic count formats, soil studies, and the use of recommended manual tables. In conclusion, Technical Standard CE.010 has a significant influence on the design of urban pavement, as it employs design parameters that align with national realities such as soil types, traffic patterns, climate, etc.
