The energy industry is a significant contributor to global warming, mostly because of the substantial quantity of greenhouse gas emissions produced from the combustion of fossil fuels and the release of fugitive emissions. Renewable energies, including solar, hydro, geothermal, tidal, biomass, and wind, are increasingly being recognised as viable alternatives to traditional electricity generation sources such as coal, oil, and natural gas. This is mostly due to their lack of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions during their operational phase, however they do generate GHGs throughout their life cycle. Hence, incorporating these energy sources into the Peruvian energy framework will reduce the release of greenhouse gas emissions into the environment. The proposal suggests the implementation of a photovoltaic and wind farm as a means of generating clean electricity. This initiative aims to supply electricity to households in Peru by harnessing the abundant and renewable resource of wind power. The progressive adoption of renewable energy sources for electricity generation is anticipated to have a positive impact on reducing carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2 eq) emissions within this industry. To ensure Peru's adherence to the reductions outlined in the National Contribution and the international conventions of the Conference of the Parties (COP).
