Resumen
En la I.E. Fray Ramón Rojas la estructura que presenta algunas fallas, aparente riesgo sísmico e
inseguridad para su población, es el pabellón de aulas 01 al 09, tiene más de 15 años de
funcionamiento, un estado actual con presencia de algunas rajaduras en su estructura, ubicado en
el distrito de Santiago, provincia de Ica, Ica. El problema se evidencia al ser una edificación de
categoría A, la cual debe de cumplir exhaustivamente todos los requerimientos de diseño y
mantener un buen estado a lo largo del tiempo.
Siendo necesario evaluar esta condición para determinar el estado actual se propuso desarrollar
una investigación cuantitativa del tipo aplicada con la hipótesis de que La aplicación del método
del índice de vulnerabilidad Benedetti – Petrini influye en la evaluación de la vulnerabilidad
sísmica de la I.E. Fray Ramón Rojas. Para ello se planteó como objetivo principal determinar la
influencia de la aplicación del método del índice de vulnerabilidad Benedetti – Petrini en la
evaluación de la vulnerabilidad sísmica de la I.E. Fray Ramón Rojas.
La estructura en estudio tiene 3 niveles, teniendo 3 aulas por nivel. Se determinó la vulnerabilidad
sísmica por el método en aplicación siendo el Ivn=9.37%, estando en el intervalo 0< Ivn <20,
teniendo así una vulnerabilidad baja. Se concluye que la aplicación del método de índice de
vulnerabilidad de Benedetti – Petrini influye favorablemente en la determinación de nuestra
vulnerabilidad sísmica, puesto nos permite establecer parámetros, encontrar resultados
respaldados y comparables.
In the I.E. Fray Ramón Rojas, the structure that presents some flaws, apparent seismic risk and insecurity for its population, is the hall of classrooms 01 to 09, it has been in operation for more than 15 years, a current state with the presence of some cracks in its structure, located in the district of Santiago, province of Ica, Ica. The problem is evident as it is a category A building, which must exhaustively meet all design requirements and maintain good condition over time. Being necessary to evaluate this condition to determine the current state, it was proposed to develop a quantitative investigation of the applied type with the hypothesis that the application of the Benedetti - Petrini vulnerability index method influences the evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of the I.E. Friar Ramon Rojas. For this, the main objective was to determine the influence of the application of the Benedetti - Petrini vulnerability index method in the evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of the I.E. Friar Ramon Rojas. The structure under study has 3 levels, having 3 classrooms per level. The seismic vulnerability was determined by the method in application, with Ivn=9.37%, being in the interval 0< Ivn <20, thus having a low vulnerability. It is concluded that the application of the Benedetti - Petrini vulnerability index method favorably influences the determination of our seismic vulnerability, since it allows us to establish parameters, find supported and comparable results.
