Conocimiento y actitudes sobre el Virus de Papiloma Humano en una Institución Educativa de Puquio - Ayacucho, 2025

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre el Virus del Papiloma Humano en una Institución Educativa de Puquio-Ayacucho, 2025. Metodología: fue un estudio de tipo aplicado, prospectivo, transversal, con un nivel de estudio relacional y con un diseño no experimental, la muestra fue de estudio estuvo conformada por 92 estudiantes del 4° año de educación secundaria, matriculados en una institución pública de la ciudad de Puquio durante el año 2025. En los resultados, el 66.3% de tienen 15 años, el 88% no ha iniciado su vida sexual. En cuanto al conocimiento, el 80.4% tienen un nivel alto, en la dimensión sobre conocimiento sobre el concepto del VPH fue de nivel alto en un 85.9%, en la dimensión sobre conocimiento sobre aquellas formas de transmisión y sus consecuencias fue de nivel alto en un 65.2%; en la dimensión conocimiento del diagnóstico y tratamiento fue de nivel alto con un 56.5% y en la dimensión conocimiento sobre la prevención fue de nivel alto en un 72.8%. Con respecto a las actitudes sobre el Virus del Papiloma Humano fueron neutras con un 64.1%. En conclusión, Existe relación significativa (Rho 0,283 sig 0,025) entre el conocimiento y actitudes sobre el Virus del Papiloma Humano en una Institución Educativa de Puquio-Ayacucho, 2025 y sus dimensiones conocimiento sobre el concepto del VPH, formas con (Rho 0.308 sig=0.003); diagnóstico y tratamiento (Rho 0,387 sig=0,000) y prevención (Rho 0,464 sig=0,000).

Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes about the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) in an educational institution in Puquio-Ayacucho, 2025.Methodology: This was an applied, prospective, cross-sectional study with a relational approach and a non experimental design. The sample consisted of 92 students in their 4th year of secondary education, enrolled in a public institution in the city of Puquio during the year 2025. The results showed that 66.3% were 15 years old, and 88% had not started their sexual life. Regarding knowledge, 80.4% had a high level; 85.9% had a high level in the dimension of knowledge about the concept of HPV; 65.2% had a high level in the dimension of knowledge about the modes of transmission and their consequences; In the dimension of knowledge of diagnosis and treatment, the level was high at 56.5%, and in the dimension of knowledge about prevention, the level was high at 72.8%. Attitudes toward the Human Papillomavirus were neutral at 64.1%. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship (Rho 0.283 sig 0.025) between knowledge and attitudes about the Human Papillomavirus in an Educational Institution in Puquio-Ayacucho, 2025 and its dimensions knowledge about the concept of HPV, forms with (Rho 0.308 sig = 0.003); diagnosis and treatment (Rho 0.387 sig = 0.000) and prevention (Rho 0.464 sig = 0.000).
