Estudio cuantitativo, correlacional y diseño no experimental.
menor a 0.050.
The present research had the following objectives: To determine the relationship between family support and stress management in nurses at the Regional Hospital of Ica, 2024, Material and Methods: Quantitative, descriptive, correlational study and non-experimental design. Probability sampling of 177 nurses. Nationally validated questionnaires adapted to reality were used, reporting a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.880 (family support) and 0.851 (stress management), presenting 35 multiple-choice questions. Results: They indicated that family support and stress management showed a significant correlation, with a coefficient of 0.733 and a sigma of less than 0.050. The level of family support presented intermediate values, in dimensions: 68.40% in general support, 66.70% affective and emotional support, 70.10% instrumental support and 61.00% in interactive support. Regarding stress management, it reached a medium level with 67.80%, distributed in 66.70% at the physiological level, 68.40% in the cognitive-emotional level and 68.90% in the behavioral, which reflected an adequate management of emotional demands. Conclusions: That family support acts as a fundamental buffer against work tensions, by offering support in multiple dimensions of emotional and practical life. This system allows individuals to respond in a balanced and functional way to complex challenges, contributing to better internal regulation and the ability to remain operational and controlled in their daily performance.
