Inversión extranjera directa y el crecimiento del sector minero en el Perú, 2018-2022.

Abstract

Este estudio tiene como finalidad determinar cómo la inversión extranjera directa se relaciona con el crecimiento del sector minero en el Perú, 2018-2022. La metodología es básica, descriptiva-correlacional-longitudinal y de diseño no experimental; con una muestra del presente análisis estará constituida por el registro histórico y escalas estadísticas de la inversión extranjera directa y el crecimiento del sector minero en el Perú, 2018-2022. La comprobación de la hipótesis general arrojó que, la inversión extranjera directa se relaciona con el crecimiento del sector minero en el Perú, por haberse obtenido el valor de Pearson igual a -0.623 lo que explica una correlación buena e inversa o negativa La inversión extranjera directa (IED) juega un papel fundamental en el desarrollo del sector minero, al proporcionar los recursos financieros necesarios para la exploración, desarrollo y expansión de proyectos mineros. Este flujo de capital externo no solo fortalece la capacidad productiva del sector, sino que también facilita la transferencia de tecnología avanzada, conocimientos especializados y prácticas de gestión de alta calidad. A largo plazo, la IED en el sector minero puede tener un impacto significativo en el crecimiento económico de un país al mejorar su balanza de pagos, crear empleo y aumentar los ingresos fiscales. No obstante, la efectividad de la IED en fomentar el crecimiento del sector minero está condicionada por la estabilidad económica y política del país receptor, así como por la existencia de un entorno regulatorio que favorezca la inversión de manera sostenible y responsable.

This study aims to determine how foreign direct investment is related to the growth of the mining sector in Peru, 2018-2022. The methodology is basic, descriptive-correlational-longitudinal and non-experimental in design; with a sample of this analysis will be constituted by the historical record and statistical scales of foreign direct investment and the growth of the mining sector in Peru, 2018-2022. The verification of the general hypothesis showed that foreign direct investment is related to the growth of the mining sector in Peru, because the Pearson value equal to -0.623 was obtained, which explains a good and inverse or negative correlation. Foreign direct investment (FDI) plays a fundamental role in the development of the mining sector, by providing the financial resources necessary for the exploration, development and expansion of mining projects. This flow of external capital not only strengthens the productive capacity of the sector, but also facilitates the transfer of advanced technology, specialized knowledge and high-quality management practices. In the long term, FDI in the mining sector can have a significant impact on a country's economic growth by improving its balance of payments, creating employment and increasing tax revenues. However, the effectiveness of FDI in promoting the growth of the mining sector is conditioned by the economic and political stability of the receiving country, as well as the existence of a regulatory environment that favors investment in a sustainable and responsible manner.
