Resumen
En la zona de operación del Nv. 3100 de la Compañía Minera Poderosa S.A., se identificaron
problemas significativos en la comunicación radial debido a limitaciones en la propagación de
señales. Este informe detalla el diseño e implementación de la solución IP SITE CONNECT para
mejorar la cobertura y calidad de la comunicación radial.
El objetivo principal fue extender el área de cobertura mediante una red IP SITE CONNECT,
optimizando la comunicación de voz y datos. Se llevó a cabo un análisis exhaustivo de la
infraestructura existente, seguido por la instalación de equipos clave como switch, duplexores,
repetidores y antenas, y la calibración de estos componentes para garantizar un rendimiento
óptimo.
Los resultados mostraron mejoras notables en la cobertura y calidad de la señal, con un VSWR
dentro de los rangos aceptables, confirmando la eficacia de la solución implementada. Esta mejora
ha permitido una mejor coordinación entre el personal y ha reducido los costos operativos
asociados con las interrupciones en la comunicación.
Se concluye que la implementación ha sido exitosa, con beneficios significativos en términos de
eficiencia y seguridad. Se recomienda continuar con un monitoreo regular, mantener
actualizaciones y capacitación continua, y tener un plan de respuesta ante emergencias para
asegurar la robustez y fiabilidad del sistema.

In the operational area at Level 3100 of Compañía Minera Poderosa S.A., significant challenges in radio communication were encountered due to signal propagation limitations. This report outlines the design and implementation of an IP SITE CONNECT solution aimed at enhancing radio communication coverage and quality. The primary objective of the project was to extend coverage through an IP SITE CONNECT network, optimizing both voice communication and data transmission. A thorough analysis of the existing infrastructure was conducted, followed by the installation of key equipment such as repeaters and antennas, and precise calibration of these components to ensure optimal performance. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in coverage and signal quality, with a VSWR within acceptable ranges. These advancements have facilitated better coordination among personnel and reduced operational costs associated with communication disruptions. In conclusion, the implementation of the IP SITE CONNECT solution has been successful, providing substantial benefits in terms of efficiency and safety. Regular monitoring, ongoing updates and training, and the establishment of an emergency response plan are recommended to ensure the system's robustness and reliability.
